Drs. James and Robert Nudera are brothers who grew up in the Fox Valley area. They both graduated high school from Marmion Military Academy, now known as Marmion Academy, in Aurora. Following high school graduation, James earned his Bachelor degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, while Robert received his Bachelor degree from Creighton University. Both James and Robert continued their education at the University of Illinois at Chicago to complete their dental training. They continued their dental education with an additional three-year orthodontic residency. In conjunction with their orthodontic residency both James and Robert earned Master's Degrees as well.

Aside from private practice, both Drs. James and Robert are involved in many professional associations. They both were inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society. They are also active members in the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Illinois Society of Orthodontists, the Chicago Dental Society, and the Midwestern Society of Orthodontics. Both Drs. James and Robert are board certified, having received diplomate status in the American Board of Orthodontics.

Drs. James and Robert have one other sibling, William, who is a dental specialist as well. William is an endodontist who presently practices in Bloomingdale. Their father, Robert Nudera, is an Ear, Nose, and Throat physician who currently practices in Aurora. He has been a provider for the Fox Valley area for over 30 years.
